La sala ordenó que el docente Pedro Jordan Almonte Vásquez cumpla la sanción en el Centro de Corrección y Rehabilitación San Felipe.
El Ministerio Público indica que cuenta con evidencias periciales, materiales, documentales, referenciales, testimoniales e ilustrativas con las que logró la medida de coerción.
La acusación establece que mientras la madre revisaba el celular de la víctima, la aplicación de mensajería instantánea WhatsApp, se percató de los asedios sexuales de parte del imputado.
Los nombres de la menor y su madre son omitidos para proteger la identidad de la víctima.
Sostiene que el procesado, quien es docente en las áreas de deportes e inglés en un colegio en Puerto Plata, le enviaba mensajes a la víctima por la referida plataforma, donde le pedía que le enviara fotos y videos de actividades sexuales.
El Ministerio Público ha calificado el caso de manera provisional de violación a varios artículos del Código para la Protección y los Derechos Fundamentales de los Niños, Niñas y Adolescentes (Ley 136-03) y el Código Penal Dominicano que tipifican y sancionan el acoso, así como el abuso psicológico y sexual y la agresión sexual contra los menores de edad.
