“Esto es una lucha indefinida todavía hasta que el cuerpo aguante y el presidente decida bajar a hablar con nosotros”, aseguró Jhoan Fortuna con relación al fin del paro.
“Realmente estamos protestando por condiciones de servicio, por mejor ambiente laboral, por mejores horarios, que se cumpla la ley con respecto a los cargos, a los sueldos y viceversa”, afirmó este miércoles Fortuna. Así mismo, el manifestante agregó que “ya hoy en día muchos de nosotros hemos sido cancelados, otros siguen trabajando, aunque están protestando acá con su derecho, los cuales están siendo violentados”.
Cabe destacar que el Metro de SD continúa operando con normalidad, pese al paro realizado los días martes 20 y miércoles 21 de junio (paro indefinido) por los empleados en demanda de algunas reivindicaciones, y que también ellos, corren el riesgo de ser cancelados o desvinculados.
En ese sentido, Fortuna recalcó que “Ya hoy en día lo que realmente queremos es que si nos desvinculan nos den nuestras prestaciones, porque no estamos en contra de las desvinculaciones, sino que se cumpla la ley y la constitución que está por encima de todo, que es lo que todo dominicano debe cumplir”.
Además, el director de la Oficina para el Reordenamiento del Transporte (OPRET), Rafael Antonio Santos, informó que algunos operadores que participaron en reciente llamado a paro del metro serán desvinculados por la “falta de confianza” en estos para continuar en la entidad.
Con respecto a esto, el protestante respondió que “él no puede decir que es por falta de confianza porque la confianza la perdimos nosotros en él, por eso estamos aquí, porque no confiamos en él porque aparte de él necesitamos un tercero que pueda interceder”.
En tanto, la Opret canceló a un grupo de 16 personas, incluido el vocero de la protesta Luis Miguel Peña Custodio, quien era conductor de tren, por la razón de “conveniencia en el servicio”.
