La cantante colombiana Shakira se coronó este jueves como la máxima ganadora de la vigésima edición de los Premios Juventud en Puerto Rico tras recibir ocho galardones.
«Esta isla que adoro y encontrarme con todos ustedes y recibir todo esto, gracias de verdad»,expresó la artista, ataviada con un vestido y unos tacones rojos ante el abarrotado Coliseo de Puerto Rico en San Juan.
Shakira mandó asimismo un mensaje de agradecimiento a todos sus seguidores, resaltando que son su «mayor suerte».
«Me acompañan en todas mis alegrías, me acompañan en todas mis luchas y por ustedes quiero ser mejor músico, la mejor artista y si se puede, la mejor persona», dijo la cantante, agregando que «debería haber un premio para los fans».
«Son los mejores fans del mundo, los quiero, los voy a querer siempre», subrayó la colombiana.
Durante la gala se anunció que Shakira obtuvo el premio a Mejor Canción Pop/Urbano por su tema «Shakira: BZRP Music Sessions #53» e inmediatamente después informaron que también conseguía otros siete galardones.
La cantante se hizo con los premios a Artista Premios Juventud Femenina, Mejor Canción para Mi Ex (por su tema TQG), Girl Power (TQG), Mejor Urban Track (TQG), Mejor Canción, Mejor Colaboración Pop Urbano, Tropical Mix y Social Dance Challenge.
Shakira encabezaba, junto a Bad Bunny, Becky G, Maluma, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía, Grupo Frontera, Peso Pluma y TINI, los Premios Juventud 2023 con nueve nominaciones.
Del mismo modo, Shakira recibió este año el reconocimiento «Agente de Cambio» por su extensa labor en transformar comunidades desde hace 23 años a través de su Fundación Pies Descalzos, galardón que también se llevó la cantante cubano-estadounidense Camila Cabello.
