Como recompensa recibirán 8 millones de pesos de premios, promesa hecha por el presidente Luis Abinader previo a su partida hacia Japón.
En el caso del relevo, por tratarse de un equipo, hay un 10 % extra para repartir entre los integrantes.
La República dominicana ahora tiene nueve medallas en su historia de los juegos olímpicos.
