El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (Mirex), informó este jueves que ya se encuentran en República Dominicana, los 10 dominicanos que fueron evacuados “sanos” y “salvos” desde Israel, a causa de la guerra de ese país contra el grupo islamista Hamás.
A través de un comunicado, la institución explicó que, gracias a la colaboración de Ecuador, el país logró que los últimos diez dominicanos que quedaban pendientes por abandonar Israel fueran embarcados en vuelo humanitario hacia la ciudad de Quito.
En la capital ecuatoriana, los dominicanos fueron recibidos por personal de la embajada en ese país, donde permanecieron tres días, hasta regresar a República Dominicana la noche del miércoles.
Otros 17 dominicanos que también se encontraban varados en Israel salieron de ese país por sus propios medios, recordó la nota.
