El Departamento de Bomberos escribió en Twitter que las llamas se extendieron primero en los pisos superiores del edificio de 20 plantas y luego bajaron.
El alcalde de la metrópoli italiana, Beppe Sala, compartió que hasta el momento no había reportes de víctimas fatales. Los medios informaron de unas 20 personas con inhalación de humo.
Unas 70 familias vivían en el edificio.
