El presidente de la República, Luis Abinader, emitió la noche de este martes el decreto número 660-21, mediante el cual ascendió y puso en retiro a dos generales del Ejército de República Dominicana y un contraalmirante de la Armada.
Entre los puestos en retiro con disfrute de la pensión correspondiente está el mayor general, Pedro Antonio Cáceres Chestaro, ERD, por antigüedad en el servicio.
Asimismo, el Mandatario ascendió al rango de mayor general de Ejército y puso en retiro a los generales de brigada Valerio Antonio García Reyes y Luis Manuel Pérez Méndez, por antigüedad en el rango.
Igualmente el Jefe de Estado ascendió y puso en retiro al contralmirante, Rafael Tomás González Tejada, de la Armada de República Dominicana , quien fue ascendido al rango de vicealmirante, por antigüedad en el servicio.
