El ciudadano ruso Vladímir Dunáev fue extraditado de Corea del Sur a Estados Unidos por acusación de participar en delitos cibernéticos, comunicó el Departamento de Justicia estadounidense.
Según documentos judiciales, Dunáev, de 38 años, era miembro de una organización ciberdelincuente que desarrolló un troyano bancario Trickbot que afectó millones de computadoras en todo el mundo.
Es el segundo arresto de un ciudadano extranjero en el caso Trickbot en el extranjero en los últimos meses», dijo la fiscal general adjunta de Estados Unidos, Lisa Monaco.
A su vez, el subdirector del FBI Paul Abbate afirmó que su departamento perseguirá a los presuntos ciberdelincuentes en todo el mundo.
