El Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE) oficializó a la ganadora de las eleciones presidenciales nombrando a Xiomara Castro como la nueva mandataria del país.
La nueva presidenta sucederá a Juan Orlando Hernández, quien el 27 de enero de 2022 concluirá su segundo mandato.
