El Tercer Tribunal Colegiado del Distrito Nacional condenó a cinco años de prisión, bajo la modalidad de dos de arresto domiciliario y tres suspendidos bajo reglas, al exdiputado y exfuncionario de los gobiernos del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD) Luis Inchausti, por violencia de género contra su expareja.
El tribunal impuso como reglas al condenado la obligatoriedad de residir en un domicilio fijo, abstenerse de la ingesta de bebidas alcohólicas y asistir al Centro de Intervención Conductual para Hombres para moldear la conducta.
Además, deberá pagar las cuotas penales y civiles del proceso así como abstenerse de estar cerca a la víctima, a quien favorece una orden de protección.
El tribunal, compuesto por las juezas Ana Lee, Milagros Ramírez y Leticia Noboa, ordenó que en caso de que el procesado incumpla las reglas deberá agotar la prisión en el Centro de Corrección y Rehabilitación Najayo Hombres.
