La organización Integridad por el Perú produjo este miércoles una denuncia constitucional contra el presidente Pedro Castillo, al considerar que pretende cerrar el Congreso.
«Es indudable que la conducta del Ejecutivo está orientada a propiciar, a como dé lugar, el rechazo de cuestiones de confianza –aún cuando éstas sean ilegales– con el único propósito de disolver el Congreso», afirma la denuncia, que también incluye al presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Aníbal Torres.
El reclamo inició en una «cuestión de confianza», un trámite que Torres planteó la semana pasada para derogar una ley que, según los demandantes, facilitaría la disolución del Parlamento, que es de mayoría opositora al presidente.
«Creemos que el Tribunal Constitucional puede contribuir decisivamente al esclarecimiento de este conflicto entre los dos poderes del Estado, y dejar sin efecto la amenaza bajo la que se encuentra nuestra democracia, nuestras instituciones y nuestra gobernabilidad», indicó la organización.
