La Justicia de Perú aprobó este jueves la solicitud de prisión preventiva en contra del destituido mandatario Pedro Castillo, investigado por el delito de rebelión, por un lapso de 18 meses.
Así mismo, la Justicia avaló la petición que realizó el Ministerio Público, al considerar que Castillo tiene varias investigaciones abiertas y por la gravedad de los presuntos delitos que, a juicio del magistrado, subirían el peligro de fuga.

En la audiencia, la defensa del destituido presidente señaló que apelaría el fallo. En el caso del ex primer ministro, Aníbal Torres, el juez exigió que no se ausente del lugar en que reside sin la autorización judicial.
