Alrededor de 16 personas han resultado heridas en los enfrentamientos entre las fuerzas de seguridad y manifestantes que se generaron este viernes en las inmediaciones del aeropuerto Inca Manco Cápac, en la ciudad de Juliaca, en el sur de Perú.
Los manifestantes lanzaron piedras y otros objetos para destruir el cerco metálico de la terminal aérea y acceder a la pista de aterrizaje. Ante esta situación, los agentes de seguridad, que se encontraban en el interior del aeropuerto, dispersaron a los manifestantes con bombas lacrimógenas.

En su intento por tomar el aeropuerto, los protestantes también prendieron fuego a un vehículo policial.
