República Dominicana.- El exministro de Educación, Roberto Fulcar, sometió a la justicia a el expresidente de la Cámara de Cuentas, Máximo Castillo Salas, a quien acusa de difamarlo a través de medios electrónicos.
La querella con constitución en parte civil fue interpuesta por Julito Fulcar en representación de su hermano Roberto Fulcar por ante la Procuraduría Fiscal del Distrito Nacional, en la que se acusa a Castillo Salas de violar los artículos 367 y 371 del Código Penal; y el artículo 21 de la Ley 53-07, sobre Crímenes y Delitos de Alta Tecnología, que tipifican y sancionan la difamación cometida a través de medios electrónicos.
La familia Fulcar, que tiene como abogados apoderados a los licenciados Melania Ingrid Hidalgo Martínez y Edwin Acosta, solicita en lo penal la máxima sanción prevista en la Ley 53-07 y en lo civil una indemnización de diez millones de pesos.
En la querella se señala que Castillo Salas alegó y afirmó, a través del programa de YouToubedenominado “Las Exclusivas de José Peguero”, que Roberto Fulcar, a raíz de su reciente viaje a Estados Unidos, ha tenido contacto con autoridades norteamericanas con fines de ofrecer informaciones sobre acciones del narcotráfico en favor de la campaña de personalidades funcionarios del gobierno actual y legisladores.
