La Fiscalía española ha pedido procesar al expresidente catalán Carles Puigdemont por el reciente delito de desórdenes públicos agravados, además por los cargos de desobediencia y malversación, informaron este martes medios locales.
También, los fiscales de la causa han registrado un recurso contra el auto dictado la semana pasada por el juez instructor de la causa del proceso independentista catalán, Pablo Llarena, quien decidió aplicar un delito de desobediencia, que no suele conllevar pena de prisión, solo de inhabilitación.
En el informe, el Ministerio Público solicita que se realicen cambios en el procesamiento tanto del exdirigente independentista como de los exconsejeros catalanes Toni Comín y Clara Ponsatí todos ellos huidos de la Justicia tras haber organizado un referéndum de autodeterminación en Cataluña en 2017, ya que consideran que la exclusión del delito de desórdenes públicos agravados «no es ajustada a derecho» y «limita las órdenes de detención e ingreso en prisión de los procesados».
