República Dominicana. – El procurador de corte de apelación Iván Féliz Vargas, responsable de la Procuraduría Especializada Contra Crímenes y Delitos de Alta Tecnología (Pedatec), llamó a la ciudadanía a mantenerse alerta ante las “propuestas de negocios o amor” que reciben a través de los medios electrónicos.
“Siempre le digo a la gente hay que dudar. Nosotros estamos en un mundo digital, pero venimos del mundo tradicional, del mundo análogo, entonces la gente, yo veo que compra, entrega dinero, cree que está hablando con esa persona, la persona le manda una cédula y validó que es la persona, y entrega dinero, hace ese tipo de conversación, y de cita, porque entiende que no va a suceder nada, y por eso hemos visto todos esos casos”, destacó sobre estos delitos.
Mediante una nota de prensa de la Procuraduría General, llamó a las personas a denunciar estos delitos y confiar en las investigaciones.
