Las autoridades de Hong Kong informaron hoy una gran campaña por valor de 2.000 millones de dólares hongkoneses (unos 231 millones de euros) para impulsar el turismo, los negocios y la inversión, que incluirá el regalo de 500.000 billetes de avión a visitantes y residentes de la ciudad.
El secretario de Finanzas hongkonés, Paul Chan, indicó este jueves que espera que la campaña, bautizada «Hola Hong Kong», logre atraer más de 200 actos empresariales, culturales y turísticos.
La meta de la campaña, que se presentó con bailarines y luces de neón en el principal centro de convenciones de la ciudad, es que Hong Kong retome la actividad después de tres años de crisis y restricciones sanitarias por la pandemia de la covid.
Además del medio millón de billetes de avión gratuitos, la administración ofrecerá a los turistas cupones para gastar en más de cien restaurantes, hoteles y otros lugares de interés turístico.
