La pieza había sido sancionada de forma favorable en segunda lectura, en la Cámara Baja, el pasado 25 de enero. Deberá ser conocida en el Senado de la República.

Se trata de una iniciativa que fue sancionada previamente al término de la pasada legislatura ordinaria, el pasado 12 de enero, por lo que su conocimiento fue retomado en la Cámara Baja, cuyo pleno la liberó de los trámites de ir a comisión y de lectura.
