El Observatorio Sirio para los Derechos Humanos (OSDH), informó que al menos seis combatientes del régimen sirio y de milicias aliadas murieron ayer en un ataque de yihadistas uzbekos en el noroeste de Siria.
El organismo internacional indicó que el atentado se produjo en Hantutin, en las afueras de la ciudad de Maarat al Numan, en el sur de la provincia de Idlib y descartó la posibilidad de que el grupo yihadista Estado Islámico (EI) estuviera implicado en el ataque.
“Se trata de grupúsculos yihadistas independientes que llevan a cabo operaciones contra el régimen y que rechazan la tregua”, precisó el director del OSDH, Rami Abdel Rahman.
La tregua, negociada por Turquía y Rusia, aliada del régimen, está en vigor desde marzo de 2020, pese a que de vez en cuando se producen enfrentamientos esporádicos.
Desencadenado en 2011 a raíz de la represión de unas manifestaciones, el conflicto en Siria ha causado casi medio millón de muertos y obligado a varios millones de personas a migrar.
