Al menos 9 de los 23 ministros del actual Gobierno de Jair Bolsonaro abandonarán sus cargos para presentarse a las próximas elecciones generales en octubre, según se publica una diario local.
Se espera que los cambios se anuncien durante una jornada ceremonial en el Palacio de Planalto, sede presidencial. De acuerdo a la ley, los ministros que desean postularse deben dejar sus cargos hasta seis meses antes de la primera vuelta de los comicios.

Entre los titulares que abandonan sus puestos se encuentran el ministro de Infraestructura, Tarcísio de Freitas; la ministra de la Mujer, Damares Alves o el titular de Ciencia y Tencología, Marcos Pontes, entre otros.
