La primera alerta en las redes la hizo la antropóloga Mónica Godoy, quien publicó en su cuenta de Twitter varias imágenes que habrían sido difundidas en sus clases por Oswaldo Ordóñez, profesor de la Facultad de Minería y Medio Ambiente de la Universidad Nacional Colombia, en su sede Medellín (Antioquia).
