República Dominicana.- El Sindicato de Choferes de Transporte Turístico de la Región Este (Sichotrature), en una vigilia que hicieron este jueves en el lugar del accidente de un autobús que transportaba turistas en Boulevard Turístico del Este, suspendió este fin de semana todas las excursiones hacia la Isla Saona.
Esto es respecto, a la medida de coerción impuesta por el juez del Juzgado de Paz Especial de Tránsito del Distrito Judicial de La Altagracia, de un año de prisión preventiva contra el chofer Franklin Nin Pérez, el cual conducía el autobús que se accidentó y dejó cinco turistas muertos y decenas de heridos.
Reyes indicó que se van a juntar el lunes en el lugar donde ocurrió el accidente, en el Cruce Domingo Maíz, Bávaro, a las 7:00 de la noche, para coordinar el paro nacional que van a realizar en todos los servicios de transporte turístico, demandando la variación de la medida de coerción a Nin Pérez.
