Hoy, 24 de abril de 2022, es el Día Mundial del Matrimonio, una conmemoración no oficial que inició en Baton Rouge, Luisiana, Los Estados Unidos, en 1981, con el objetivo de: “poner de manifiesto el sentido, la importancia y el valor del matrimonio”.
El matrimonio se considera una institución social y cultural, donde se establece un vínculo conyugal entre dos personas que se aman, el cual es reconocido y amparado por normas legales, prácticas comunitarias, religiosas y morales.
