Después de que organizaciones sociales anunciaran el cese temporal de las movilizaciones en algunas ciudades durante las festividades de Navidad y Año Nuevo, la presidenta peruana, Dina Boluarte, llamó al país a extender indefinidamente la tregua en las manifestaciones.
«Que esta tregua no solo sea por Navidad o Año Nuevo, que esta tregua sea con el país de acá para adelante. En paz podemos llegar a buenos acuerdos y resolver aquellos problemas que, con justa razón, los hermanos y hermanas del Perú están reclamando», indicó Boluarte en entrevista con medios locales.
