Uno de los dos aviones que están al servicio de la Presidencia de Ecuador fue vendido a la Fuerza Aérea de Colombia, confirmó ayer el ministro de Economía y Finanzas del país suramericano, Simón Cueva.
«El avión presidencial se transfirió, entiendo, se vendió, no es mi área de especialidad, a la Fuerza Aérea Colombiana Deberíamos recibir próximamente recursos, son recursos para la caja fiscal», indicó el funcionario.

Cueva no brindó detalles de en cuánto y cuál de los aviones fue el que se vendió; sin embargo, se conocía que la aeronave que estaba en venta era el Legacy EMB-135 BJ, adquirido en 2008 por Ecuador, de acuerdo con el Decreto Ejecutivo 180 emitido el 31 de agosto de 2021.
