La Corte Suprema de EE.UU. solicitó revivir el Protocolo de Protección Migratoria de la era Trump, conocido como el programa ‘Quédate en México’. Luego de su entrada en vigor en 2019, fueron deportados a México a casi 70.000 migrantes de Centroamérica.
Varios defensores de DD.HH. destacan que esta política somete a los migrantes a condiciones peligrosas en las ciudades fronterizas mexicanas.
