La Administración Biden ha decidido excluir a la extinta guerrilla colombiana de las FARC de su lista negra de organizaciones terroristas, informó el secretario de Estado, Antony Blinken.
«El Departamento de Estado revoca las designaciones de las Fuerzas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) como Organización Terrorista Extranjera (FTO) en virtud de la Ley de Inmigración y Nacionalidad (INA), y como Terrorista Global Especialmente Designado (SDGT) de conformidad con la Orden Ejecutiva (OE) 13224, enmendada», informó el funcionario.
Informó que Washington designó como grupos terroristas a las FARC-EP y Segunda Marquetalia.
«También estamos designando a los respectivos líderes de esas organizaciones, Luciano Marín Arango, Hernán Darío Velásquez Saldarriaga, Henry Castellanos Garzón, Néstor Gregorio Vera Fernández, Miguel Santanilla Botache y Euclides España Caicedo, como Terrorista Global Especialmente Designado bajo la OE 13224, enmendada», explicó.
