Los equipos de rescate italianos localizaron este sábado los cadáveres de siete personas, entre ellas cuatro ciudadanos turcos y dos libaneses, quienes fallecieron al desplomarse el helicóptero en el que viajaban durante una tormenta por una zona boscosa de montaña en el norte de Italia, informaron las autoridades.
El coronel Alfonso Cipriano, quien encabezó una unidad de coordinación de rescate de la Fuerza Aérea que dirigió la búsqueda desde el jueves, dijo que los rescatistas fueron informados del lugar del accidente después de que un montañista informara haber visto lo que pensó que era una parte del helicóptero destrozado durante una excursión en el monte Cusna el sábado por la mañana.
Los tripulantes de las naves aéreas de rescate confirmaron el sitio y los rescatistas en tierra localizaron inicialmente cinco cuerpos y luego los otros dos, precisó Cipriano a The Associated Press.
