Diferentes carreteras en el Bronx y Manhattan fueron cerradas este viernes, y se pronostica que caerán lluvias de hasta 6 pulgadas en algunas áreas. Un ciudadano del Bronx fue visto usando una moto de agua para cruzar una calle que estaba completamente bajo el agua.
La policía se vio obligada a rescatar decenas de personas atrapadas en una calle inundada por fuertes lluvias. Mientras tanto, en la localidad neoyorquina de Westernville, la tormenta arrancó árboles y techos y derribó líneas eléctricas.
