El número de asesinados en la cárcel de Guayaquil, en el oeste de Ecuador, subió a 118, informó la Policía Nacional.
«Las cifras oficiales en el CPL (Centro de Privación de la Libertad) de Guayas son 118 PPL (personas privadas de la libertad) fallecidos, 79 PPL heridos)», indicó la Policía.
Previamente, la Comandante general de Policía, Tannya Varela, dijo que el número de fallecidos podría superar los 116 reportados pues podrían existir otros cuerpos dentro del centro penitenciario y también podrían fallecer personas que se encuentran heridas.
