República Dominicana.- Los terrenos donde actualmente funciona el centro de retención de vehículos conocido como el Canódromo el Coco, en el Distrito Nacional, fueron vendidos por el Estado dominicano a una empresa relacionada con el ministro de Vivienda, Hábitat y Edificaciones, Carlos Alberto Bonilla Sánchez.
La venta, ocurrida en octubre de 2021, se hizo a través del Banco Central, a una empresa de desarrollo inmobiliario creada en el año 2000, y en la que sigue como socio Sánchez.
La información de la venta la dio el Banco Central de la República Dominicana a Diario Libre, como respuesta a una solicitud vía su Oficina de Libre Acceso a la Información, en la que se pidió indicar el status de la parcela 102-B, del Distrito Catastral, Distrito Nacional.
El párrafo que concentra la respuesta a la solicitud indica que “conforme a las informaciones suministradas por la Estructura de Soporte del Comité de Políticas para la Realización de Activos del Banco Central (Copra), precisamos indicarle que la parcela descrita previamente ya no es propiedad del Banco Central de la República Dominicana”.
Luego informa que “la venta de este inmueble fue formalizada mediante contrato de fecha 8 de octubre de 2021, suscrito a favor de la empresa CBS Developments, S.R.L., por el monto de RD$298,000,000,00”.
