Sin importar la gran cantidad de sanciones y restricciones económicas que impone el país norteamericano, Rusia sigue siendo un importante socio comercial, y el helado es un ejemplo de ello.
El aumento de las exportaciones rusas de helados en el primer trimestre de 2021 aumentó un 61% gracias a los suministros a EEUU, que multiplicaron casi por cuatro sus compras, informa el centro federal Agroexport del Ministerio de Agricultura ruso.
«El principal impulsor [de este crecimiento] fueron los envíos de helados a EEUU, que se multiplicaron por 3,7 hasta alcanzar las 1.900 toneladas por un valor de 4,7 millones de dólares”, destaca la agencia.
Las exportaciones de estos productos al país norteamericano se han ido desarrollando los últimos años y a principios del 2021 este Estado se convirtió en líder entre los compradores de helados rusos, señala Agroexport en su informe.
El gigante asiático ocupó el segundo lugar en las compras de helados rusos con un aumento del 43% hasta llegar a las 576 toneladas del producto. Esto supone un crecimiento del 66% en términos económicos, llegando el valor de estas importaciones hasta 2,6 millones de dólares en términos de valor.
Kazajstán, que redujo sus suministros en un 57%, hasta 986 toneladas, o hasta dos millones de dólares en valor (-17%), ocupó el tercer puesto.
Entre los cinco principales importadores de helados rusos se encuentran también Mongolia y Ucrania. Los envíos a Mongolia ascendieron a 559 toneladas (+54%) por 1,4 millones de dólares (+74%), mientras que Ucrania compró 260 toneladas (+24%) por un valor de 692.000 dólares (+31%).
Rusia se encuentra entre los 20 principales productores mundiales de este producto. En 2020, Rusia produjo 451.000 toneladas de helado, un 8% más que en 2019, mientras que las exportaciones se han duplicado en cinco años, pasando de 13.000 toneladas en 2015 a 26.000 toneladas en 2020.
