«El Presidente de la República hoy lanza un desafío, y dice que si esos datos no son ciertos, que lo vayamos a discutir con los organismos internacionales y, nosotros le decimos al Presidente de la República que aceptamos el reto y, que vamos a demostrar que efectivamente, lo que estamos diciendo es la verdad porque se corresponde con la realidad del pueblo dominicano», sentenció Fernández.
