República Dominicana. – El bloque de diputados de Fuerza del Pueblo denunció este jueves que el proyecto de presupuesto para 2023 enviado por el Gobierno al Congreso Nacional plantea reducir en 150 millones de pesos la partida de la Policía Nacional destinada a la lucha contra crímenes y delitos.
Omar Fernández, vocero del partido en la cámara baja, indicó que hay reducciones millonarias en el presupuesto destinado a la formación policial y transporte de la institución del orden.
Además, los recursos de 14 provincias del país se ven amenazadas en este presupuesto, contrario a lo que ocurriría con la presidencia, que registraría incrementos en casi un 40%.
“Azua, Barahona, Duarte, El Seibo, la Altagracia, La Romana, Pedernales; Samaná, San Pedro de Macorís, Santiago Rodríguez, Monseñor Nouel, Monte Plata, Hato Mayor y San José de Ocoa, son provincias todas a las cuales el gobierno les asigna menos presupuesto de inversión que el año pasado”, señaló Fernández.
Otro elemento que denuncian los legisladores de la Fuerza del Pueblo, es que el Gobierno estaría congelando la indexación del impuesto sobre la renta por inflación como ordena el código tributario, lo que significaría una reducción de hasta la mitad del salario 13 o doble sueldo de los asalariados para 2023.
