El periodista y defensor ambiental Abisaí Pérez Romero fue encontrado muerto en el municipio de Tula, del estado mexicano de Hidalgo, luego de ser reportado como desaparecido el pasado domingo.
El cuerpo del activista fue recuperado desde el 13 de febrero en la Ciudad de los Atlantes, en la comunidad de San José.
La tarde del jueves, la Procuraduría General de Justicia del estado confirmó el hallazgo, a través de una nota informativa recuperada en medios locales, en la que se aclara que actualmente el cadáver está siendo examinado por peritos.
Según la autoridad, los primeros análisis indican que el también estudiante de la Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México (UACM) falleció a causa de un traumatismo facial severo, tras caer desde su propia altura.
