Una trabajadora de la salud en la ciudad estadounidense de Juneau, Alaska, tuvo este miércoles una severa reacción alérgica tras serle inyectada la vacuna de Pfizer y BioNTech contra el covid-19, informa The New York Times.
Según se detalla, 10 minutos después de la vacunación la mujer, de edad media y sin historial previo de alergias, mostró síntomas reactivos como, entre otros, enrojecimiento de la piel y dificultad para respirar. Trasladada de inmediato a cuidados intensivos, recibió una inyección de epinefrina que la hizo sentirse mejor, dijo al diario Lindy Jones, director del departamento de emergencias del Bartlett Regional Hospital, centro donde ocurrió el incidente.
