República Dominicana.- El juez Amauris Martínez, del Tercer Juzgado de la Instrucción del Distrito Nacional, fijó para este lunes el conocimiento de la solicitud de apertura a juicio en contra de Alain Rodríguez y los demás imputados en caso Medusa.
La audiencia será conocida en la Corte de Apelación Civil y Comercial del Distrito Nacional, ubicada en el Palacio de Justicia del Centro de los Héroes, debido a la cantidad de partes procesales que intervienen en el caso Medusa.
Con esta etapa se inicia el juicio a la prueba, en la que se determinará si la acusación, que cuenta con más de 12,000 páginas, tiene los méritos suficientes para enviar a los procesados a juicio de fondo o de lo contrario se dictaría auto de no ha lugar.
En la audiencia de hoy se espera también la vuelta al escenario de la directora general de Persecución, Yeni Berenice Reynoso, junto al titular de la Procuraduría Especializada en Persecución de la Corrupción Administrativa (Pepca), Wilson Camacho, quienes han estado a la cabeza del proceso desde que se inició el 29 junio de 2021, con el arresto del exprocurador y de los colaboradores más cercanos en la institución.
