Las autoridades de Irak han organizado la evacuación de más de 3.500 migrantes de la frontera entre Bielorrusia y Polonia, escenario el mes pasado de una aguda crisis migratoria, según informó este domingo el portavoz del Ministerio de Exteriores iraquí, Ahmed al-Sahaf.
«Hasta el momento, el Ministerio ha logrado organizar nueve vuelos de evacuación desde Minsk, con 3.556 pasajeros en coordinación con [la aerolínea] Iraqui Airways», dijo el vocero citado por la agencia INA. Asimismo, añadió que los esfuerzos para apoyar el regreso voluntario de los migrantes también continúan en Polonia, Lituania y Letonia.
