República Dominicana. – El vicepresidente del partido Fuerza del Pueblo, Radhamés Jiménez Peña, solicitó al Presidente de la República que convoque de manera urgente la Mesa Especial de Seguridad Ciudadana, dado que considera la criminalidad tiene a la sociedad entre la espada y la pared.
En rueda de prensa, el vicepresidente de la FP narró un comunicado en nombre de la Dirección Política de la organización opositora, en el que llama al Presidente de la República, para que, «convoque la Mesa Seguridad Ciudadana de urgencia”, creada a propuesta de la FP en el marco del Consejo Económico y Social.
El Exprocurador General de la República expresó que, «el país en los actuales momentos está atravesando por una situación excepcionalmente difícil en lo económico, político y social, en la que confluye un cóctel de elementos que, combinados, se convierten en una seria amenaza para el mantenimiento de la estabilidad política y la paz social».
Jiménez Peña indicó también que la propuesta la hacen, «a los fines de que todos los sectores y fuerzas vivas de la nación puedan aunar esfuerzos que den al traste con la actual situación que vivimos como país».
