La vacuna contra covid-19 desarrollada por Oxford/AstraZeneca tiene una eficacia del 76 % tras la primera inyección, mientras que esa cifra se eleva al 82 % tras una segunda dosis inoculada tras un intervalo de «12 semanas», según revela hoy un estudio publicado por The Lance.
«Esto sugiere que el intervalo entre dosis puede extenderse con seguridad a tres meses, dada la protección que ofrece una sola dosis, lo que permitiría a los países vacunar a una proporción mayor de población más rápidamente», explican los autores en un comunicado.
