Algunas cabezas de la derecha, especialmente el representante a la Cámara Miguel Polo Polo, convocaron este miércoles a movilizaciones contra el Gobierno de Gustavo Petro, en 12 ciudades de Colombia y siete del exterior.
El volumen de protestantes es importante en tanto este martes fue el presidente quien convocó a marchar a su favor cerró la jornada con una proclama desde el balcón del palacio presidencial en el que reactivó el discurso que le ayudó a ser elegido en 2022. La marcha opositora se da con el trasfondo de la reforma a la salud que presentó Petro ante el Congreso este lunes y que promete ser objeto de una fuerte tensión política a lo largo de los próximos meses.
Las manifestaciones han ido creciendo durante la mañana en Bogotá, en Cali y especialmente en Medellín, el bastión uribista y de la derecha en el que se han vivido algunos momentos tensos. El secretario de Gobierno de la ciudad, Esteban Restrepo, denunció en un video publicado en su cuenta de Twitter que algunos manifestantes agredieron a otras personas, sin especificar un contexto ni quiénes eran el blanco de los ataques.
