La instrucción a los embajadores de ambos países es a «trasladarse a sus respectivas capitales, con el objetivo de realizar consultas sobre las preocupantes acciones políticas-legales realizadas por el Gobierno nicaragüense en los últimos días que han puesto en riesgo la integridad y libertad de diversas figuras de la oposición [incluidos precandidatos presidenciales], activistas y empresarios nicaragüenses», dice un comunicado conjunto emitido por las cancillerías de México y Argentina
