Miss Distrito Capital Diana Silva, una tripulante de cabina y estudiante de publicidad de 25 años, fue coronada Miss Venezuela el miércoles en una ceremonia que sugirió los suntuosos y multitudinarios espectáculos de décadas pasadas, marcando el fin de nueve años de modestas producciones del popular concurso de belleza.
Silva se impuso sobre otras 23 aspirantes y obtuvo el derecho de representar a Venezuela en Miss Universo 2024. Miss Portuguesa Andrea Rubio, una modelo y licenciada en comunicación social de 23 años, fue elegida para representar a Venezuela en el próximo Miss Internacional.
La ganadora indicó en la ronda de preguntas que tuvo sus dudas de participar en el concurso debido a una “situación muy incómoda y muy triste”, que mencionó, sin revelar más detalles.
Añadió, que esas malas experiencias son las que “te impulsan para cumplir tus sueños y hoy en día estoy completamente satisfecha y agradecida con todo lo que he aprendido”.
“Es un sueño regresar al Poliedro y celebrar por todo lo alto los 70 años del Miss Venezuela”, expresó María Gabriela Isler, Miss Universo 2013 y directora de Comunicaciones y Formación del certamen.
