Las autoridades sanitarias de Mozambique declararon este miércoles un brote de polio causado por el poliovirus salvaje, el segundo detectado este año en África meridional, informó la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS).
Hasta el momento se ha detectado un caso, el primero de la nación africana desde 1992, en la provincia de Tete, en un niño que comenzó a experimentar parálisis a finales de marzo.
