Este lunes, el productor de cine estadounidense Harvey Weinstein se enfrenta a su segundo juicio. En esta ocasión por 11 acusaciones de violación y abusos sexuales.
Esta es una jornada complicada para Weinstein, que ya fue condenado a 23 años de prisión por un juez de la Corte Suprema de Nueva York. En esa ocasión se le acusó de cometer acto sexual criminal y violación en tercer grado.
Ahora le piden 140 años de cárcel por lo que a sus 70 años, el productor podría pasar toda su vida entre rejas.
Los supuestos delitos que se le acusan se habrían cometido entre los años 2004 y 2013 a cinco mujeres en diferentes hoteles. Entre ellas hay una modelo italiana y una actriz de Estados Unidos.
Las acusaciones de abuso sexual y acoso contra Harvey Weinstein salieron a la luz en octubre de 2017, aunque no fue hasta el año 2020 cuando un jurado de Nueva York le condenó. Además, por otro lado, la fiscalía británica le acusó de un ataque contra una mujer en Londres en 1996.
