Portugal comenzó el jueves la inoculación para aquellos que tuvieron contacto con casos confirmados de viruela del mono, dijo la Dirección General de Salud (DGS) del país europeo.
La autoridad sanitaria reportó un total de 588 casos de tal enfermedad en Portugal hasta el jueves desde el primer caso que se registró el 3 de mayo, incluyendo a 73 infectados la semana pasada.
