Un pueblo español que quedó sumergido en los años 90 bajo las aguas de un embalse en la provincia de Ourense, en Galicia, vuelve a emerger cada año, y este no fue la excepción.
Las calles, viviendas y todo el mobiliario urbano del pueblo Aceredo se hundieron luego de que una hidroeléctrica portuguesa cerrará el 8 de enero de 1992 las compuertas del embalse de Lindoso situado en el río Lima, que fluye por España y Portugal.
Estos días, con el embalse al 20 %, se puede ver partes de las casas destruidas de las que apenas se mantienen los muros en pie. Asimismo, reaparecen carros oxidados, árboles muertos y algunos enseres que flotan en el estanque.
