El Ministerio Público realizó hoy un allanamiento en el yate Flying Fox, como parte de una investigación sobre presuntos acto de lavado de activos y tráfico de armas.
La requisa se realizó bajo la autorización número 0094-Marzo-2022, dictada por la Coordinación de los Juzgados de Instrucción del Distrito Nacional, en la tarde del 31 de marzo de este 2022.
El órgano investigativo realizó la solicitud en virtud de una cooperación jurídica formal que realizó Estados Unidos de Norteamérica, en virtud de los acuerdos internacionales de lucha contra la criminalidad y el delito, suscritos por República Dominicana.
En la orden el Ministerio Público solicita practicar la requisa en virtud de que Estados Unidos tiene abierta una investigación en contra de varios objetivos dedicados al lavado de activos a escala internacional.
La seguridad en torno al lujoso yate ruso Flyng Fox retenido desde hace siete días en el Puerto Don Diego, San Soucí ha sido reforzada especialmente en la noche por unidades de la Armada Dominicana y del Cuerpo Especializado de Seguridad Portuaria (CESEP).
