El encuentro que organiza la Organización Iberoamericana de Seguridad Social (OISS), el Ministerio de Trabajo y el Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Social (CNSS), la XIII Reunión del Comité Técnico Administrativo del Convenio Multilateral Iberoamericano de Seguridad Social (CMISS), será celebrado este 6 y 7 de octubre en la República Dominicana.
El cónclave contará con la participación de representantes de Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, España, Paraguay, Perú, Portugal, Uruguay, Venezuela y República Dominicana, quien ostenta actualmente la presidencia anual del Comité Técnico de este convenio.
Según informó el CNSS, este convenio protege los derechos de millones de trabajadores migrantes y sus familias en los países iberoamericanos.
Durante el encuentro internacional se analizarán los aspectos jurídicos, de gestión e informáticos del estado de aplicación del Convenio Multilateral, participarán una treintena de representantes de las instituciones responsables de la aplicación del Convenio en los 12 países en los que ya se aplica.
La apertura de la reunión estará a cargo de ministro de Trabajo y presidente del CNSS, Luis Miguel De Camps y la secretaria general de la Organización Iberoamericana de Seguridad Social, Gina Magnolia Riaño Barón.
