Rusia expresó su desagrado ante el ataque que sufrió el embajador ruso este lunes en Polonia, Serguéi Andréyev fue rociado con pintura roja mientras rendía homenaje a los soldados soviéticos en Varsovia para conmemorar la victoria sobre la Alemania nazi.
Se añade que la diplomacia rusa insta a tomar las medidas correspondientes ya este lunes.
Más tarde, la Embajada de Rusia en Varsovia confirmó que había cursado una nota de protesta en relación con lo ocurrido y dijo que de momento está esperando la respuesta de las autoridades polacas.
A su vez, el portavoz del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Polonia, Lukasz Jasina, afirmó ante la prensa que la diplomacia polaca entiende la «gravedad de la situación» y la sigue de cerca.
Sin embargo, el ministro del Interior de Polonia, Mariusz Kaminski, trató de dar en su cuenta de Twitter una explicación a lo ocurrido con Andréyev.
«La reunión de opositores a la agresión rusa contra Ucrania, donde diariamente se comete un crimen de genocidio, fue legal. Son comprensibles las emociones de las mujeres ucranianas que participan en la manifestación, cuyos maridos luchan valientemente para defender su patria», tuiteó Kaminski.
Agregó que las autoridades polacas habían advertido al embajador ruso contra la ceremonia de ofrenda floral.
